The model at a glance
The Toshiba e-STUDIO 4518A is a professional A3 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, established offices, professional practices, schools, public bodies, administrative departments, accountants, warehouses and workgroups that need to print, copy and scan in black and white in A4 and A3 formats.
It is primarily intended for document printing, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, files, manuals, forms, office paperwork, technical documents and large volumes of A4/A3 documents. It is not designed for color graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 45 pages per minute in A4 black and white.
Functions: print, copy and scan. Optional fax, depending on the installed configuration.
Duplex: built-in automatic duplex, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files, manuals and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: 600 x 600 dpi, equivalent to 2,400 x 600 dpi with smoothing, and up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi in PostScript mode. Quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts, forms and black-and-white technical documents.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A3, Letter, Legal, Ledger, envelopes, custom sizes and media via the bypass tray. Ideal for A4 and A3 documents, files, administrative paperwork, technical drawings, manuals and large-format document printing.
Supported paper weights: 52 to 256 g/m² via the bypass tray and 60 to 256 g/m² from the cassettes, depending on the media used. It is therefore suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, cardstock and heavier media.
Paper capacity: 1,200 sheets standard, comprising 2 x 550-sheet cassettes and a 100-sheet multi-purpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 3,200 sheets with optional cassettes and a high-capacity feeder.
ADF: optional automatic document feeder or included depending on configuration. It can be configured with a 100-sheet RADF or a 300-sheet DSDF, useful for high-speed multi-page copying and scanning.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB and USB Host. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are optional only if a dedicated module or specific configuration is present.
Control panel: modern, intuitive 10.1" Toshiba color touchscreen, useful for printing, copying, scanning, the address book, settings, document functions and workflows.
Platform: Toshiba e-BRIDGE Next technology, useful for document management, security, network scanning, user authentication, secure printing and integration into business environments.
Memory and storage: 4 GB standard memory and a 320 GB Toshiba Secure hard drive, useful for saved jobs, security, print queues, scans and document management.
Work volumes: suitable for medium and large workgroups with significant document volumes. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 150,000 pages.
Main consumables: Toshiba black toner with an indicative yield of up to approximately 43,900 pages at 5% coverage, depending on the consumable code and market.
