The model at a glance
The Toshiba e-STUDIO 2500AC is a professional A3 colour laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public institutions, agencies, reception areas, administrative departments and small/medium workgroups that need colour printing, copying and scanning in A4 and A3 formats.
It is suitable for both business documents and light office graphics: text, invoices, contracts, quotations, presentations, charts, tables, simple brochures, flyers, product sheets, internal sales materials, and documents with logos and images. It can be offered when the customer is looking for good colour reproduction, but it is not the first choice for advanced professional graphics or intensive production; for pure graphics work, Xerox, Ricoh or Konica Minolta are generally more suitable.
Print speed: up to 25 pages per minute in A4, in both colour and black and white. In A3, it prints up to approximately 12 pages per minute.
Functions: print, copy and scan. Optional fax, depending on the installed configuration.
Duplex: automatic for printing, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, files, contracts, presentations and administrative paperwork. The automatic document feeder is optional or depends on the installed configuration.
Print resolution: up to 600 x 600 dpi, with colour quality suitable for business documents, text, charts, logos, presentations and light sales materials.
Supported formats: A5R, A4, A3, Letter, Legal, Ledger, envelopes and custom sizes via the bypass tray. Ideal for A4 and A3 documents, administrative paperwork, business presentations and simple sales materials.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 163 g/m² from the main tray and 60 to 209 g/m² from the multi-purpose bypass tray. Duplex supports paper from approximately 60 to 163 g/m². It is therefore suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, light card and compatible media.
Paper capacity: 350 sheets standard, comprising a 250-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multi-purpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 2,900 sheets with optional trays and a high-capacity module.
ADF: optional 100-sheet automatic document feeder, useful for multi-page copying and scanning. If it is not installed, scanning is performed from the platen glass.
Connectivity: Ethernet network, USB and USB Host. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct are optional only when a dedicated module or specific configuration is present.
Control panel: 9" colour touchscreen, tablet-style, easy to use for printing, copying, scanning, address book, settings, document functions and workflows.
Platform: Toshiba e-BRIDGE technology, useful for document management, security, network scanning, user authentication and integration into business environments.
Memory and storage: 4 GB memory and a 320 GB Toshiba Secure hard disk, useful for saved jobs, security, print queues, scans and document management.
Work volumes: suitable for small and medium workgroups with regular volumes. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 84,000 pages, but recommended for non-intensive office document production.
Main consumables: Toshiba toner for the e-STUDIO 2000AC / 2500AC series. Indicative yield of up to approximately 38,400 pages for black and approximately 33,600 pages for each colour, depending on coverage and type of use.
