The model at a glance
The Samsung Xpress C1860FW is an A4 color laser multifunction printer recommended for small offices, professional practices, reception areas, shops, schools, administrative departments and workstations that need A4 color printing, copying, scanning and faxing.
It is primarily suited to color office documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, presentations, charts, tables, simple flyers, light commercial materials and business documents with logos and images. It can handle light graphics and color office printing, but it is not the ideal choice for professional graphics, photographs or advanced copy-shop work.
Print speed: up to approximately 18/19 pages per minute in A4, both in color and black and white.
Functions: print, copy, scan and fax. Printing is in color, while scanning and copying can be done in both black and white and color.
Duplex: not automatic for printing in most configurations; duplex printing can be handled manually through the driver. For customers who require automatic duplex, a different model is a better choice.
Print resolution: up to 9,600 x 600 dpi. Quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, simple charts, logos, tables, presentations and light commercial materials.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: primarily suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock and compatible plain media.
Paper capacity: main tray holds approximately 250 sheets, with an output capacity of approximately 100 sheets. It is designed for small offices and moderate print volumes.
ADF: 50-sheet automatic document feeder, useful for multipage copying, scanning and faxing.
Connectivity: USB, Ethernet network, built-in Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and NFC. It can also print from mobile devices using compatible wireless functions.
Control panel: 4.3" color touchscreen, easy to use for copying, scanning, faxing, settings, network, Wi-Fi and the machine’s main functions.
Workloads: suited to small offices and low-to-medium volumes. Recommended monthly volume is approximately 700 to 1,500 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 40,000 pages.
Main consumables: Samsung CLT-504 series toner. Black CLT-K504S has an approximate yield of up to 2,500 pages; cyan CLT-C504S, magenta CLT-M504S and yellow CLT-Y504S each have an approximate yield of up to 1,800 pages. Drum/imaging unit and waste toner container are separate, depending on the configuration.
