The model at a glance
The Samsung SCX-5835FN is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, reception areas, warehouses, administrative departments and workgroups that need black-and-white printing, copying, scanning and faxing.
It is primarily suited to document printing, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, files, office paperwork, reports and everyday scanning. It is not designed for colour graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 33 pages per minute in A4 black and white, and up to approximately 35 pages per minute in Letter format.
Functions: print, copy, scan and fax. Printing is monochrome, while scanning can also capture colour documents.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is integrated, helping save paper and manage professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Suitable quality for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 format is not supported.
Supported paper weights: especially suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock and basic media for everyday use.
Paper capacity: 550 sheets standard, consisting of a 500-sheet main tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 1,050 sheets with an optional 500-sheet tray.
ADF: 50-sheet automatic document feeder, useful for copying, scanning and faxing multi-page documents.
Connectivity: USB and Ethernet network. Wi-Fi is not standard on this model, except with any optional adapters or specific configurations.
Control panel: 7" colour LCD touchscreen, convenient for managing copying, scanning, faxing, settings, address book, network and the machine’s main functions.
Work volumes: suitable for small and medium workgroups with regular document volumes. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 75,000 pages, but recommended for everyday workloads that are not extremely intensive.
Main consumables: Samsung MLT-D208L high-yield black toner, with an indicative yield of up to approximately 10,000 pages. Some configurations may include standard-yield toner with a lower page yield.
