The model at a glance
The Samsung MultiXpress SL-K4350LX is a professional A3 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for companies, offices, professional practices, schools, public bodies, administrative departments and workgroups that need to print, copy and scan documents at a good speed and handle high volumes.
It is particularly suited to invoices, contracts, quotations, accounting documents, administrative files, dossiers, manuals, tables, floor plans and digital archiving. Samsung offers versatile machines suited to general business use, but without Kyocera’s particular specialization in exceptionally durable components or Xerox’s specialization in professional graphics. As a monochrome model, it is not suitable for photographs or color graphics.
Print speed: up to 35 pages per minute in A4 and up to approximately 19 pages per minute in A3.
Functions: printing, copying, color scanning of originals, digital transmission and document archiving. Fax is optional and can be added using a Samsung one- or two-line kit, so its presence must be checked for each individual configuration.
Duplex: automatic and integrated for printing, copying and scanning. It has a single-pass duplex document feeder that can capture both sides of a sheet in a single pass.
Print resolution: 600 x 600 dpi, with enhanced quality up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Samsung ReCP technology improves the definition of text, lines, monochrome charts and professional documents.
Supported formats: A5, A4, A3, Letter, Legal, Ledger and custom sizes up to approximately 297 x 432 mm. It is therefore also suitable for floor plans, tables, dossiers and administrative documents in A3 format.
Supported paper weights: up to approximately 220 g/m², depending on the tray used. It handles plain, recycled, letterhead, preprinted and heavyweight paper, lightweight card, labels, envelopes and glossy paper compatible with laser printers.
ADF: 100-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder. Scan speeds reach up to approximately 80 images per minute in simplex mode and up to 120 images per minute in duplex mode.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 and USB 2.0. Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and NFC are available through an optional module, so their presence must be checked on each individual machine.
Workload: suitable for offices with medium to medium-high volumes. The recommended monthly volume is approximately 7,000 to 15,000 pages, with a stated maximum duty cycle of up to approximately 120,000 pages per month.
Main consumables: Samsung MLT-D708S black toner, with an approximate yield of up to 25,000 pages, and high-capacity MLT-D708L black toner, with an approximate yield of up to 35,000 pages. Yields are declared in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752 and may vary depending on coverage and the type of document printed.
Maintenance components: Samsung MLT-R708 imaging unit/drum, with an approximate life of up to 200,000 pages, and Samsung MLT-W708 waste toner container, with an approximate life of up to 100,000 pages. The toner, drum and container are separate components and can be replaced individually as they wear out.
Recommended use: companies, administrative offices, professional practices, schools, public bodies and workgroups looking for a monochrome A3 multifunction printer for invoices, contracts, dossiers, accounting documents, floor plans, fast scanning and digital archiving. It is a versatile, robust business machine suited to general document printing, but should not be recommended to customers looking for color graphics, photographs or very heavy card.
