The Samsung MultiXpress SL-M5360LX is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, established offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities, administrative departments and workgroups that need high-speed document printing, copying and scanning.
It is primarily suited to invoices, contracts, accounting documents, quotations, administrative paperwork, files, manuals, forms, tables and digital archiving. Samsung offers a versatile, professional solution for everyday document management, but without Kyocera’s particular specialisation in long component life. As a monochrome device limited to A4, it is not suitable for colour graphics, photographs or A3 documents.
Print speed: up to approximately 53 pages per minute in A4 and up to 55 pages per minute in Letter. Suitable for offices with multiple users and frequent print jobs.
Functions: printing, copying, colour scanning of originals and digital document sending. Analogue fax is optional and must be verified according to the installed configuration.
Duplex: integrated automatic duplex for printing, copying and scanning. It has an automatic duplex document feeder, useful for contracts, files, administrative paperwork and archives printed on both sides.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi. Delivers crisp text, well-defined characters and good reproduction quality for tables, monochrome graphics, forms, barcodes and professional documents.
Supported formats: A6, A5, A4, B5, Letter, Legal, Executive, Statement, Folio, Oficio, envelopes and custom sizes up to approximately 216 × 356 mm. Does not support A3 printing.
Supported paper weights: approximately 60 to 163 g/m² from the trays and multipurpose tray. Handles plain, thin, thick and recycled paper, letterhead, pre-printed paper, labels, envelopes, lightweight cardstock and archival paper. Not suitable for heavy cardstock weighing 220-300 g/m².
ADF: 100-sheet automatic duplex document feeder, with scan speeds of up to approximately 55 images per minute in simplex mode and up to approximately 80 images per minute in duplex, in both colour and black and white.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000, USB 2.0 and USB host port. Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and NFC are optional and must be verified for each individual configuration. Also supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria.
Workloads: suitable for medium-high and intensive volumes. The recommended monthly volume is approximately 12,500 to 25,000 pages, with a declared maximum duty cycle of up to approximately 300,000 pages per month.
Main consumables: Samsung MLT-D358S black toner, also available under HP codes SV110A or SV112A depending on the market, with an approximate yield of up to 30,000 pages. Yield may vary depending on coverage and the type of document printed.
Maintenance components: Samsung MLT-R358 imaging unit/drum, HP code SV167A or SV168A depending on the market, with an approximate life of up to 100,000 pages; Samsung SL-PMK001K maintenance kit, HP code SS516A, including fuser and tray roller; European 220 V Samsung JC91-01160A fuser. Toner, drum and fuser are separate components and can be replaced individually according to wear.
Recommended use: businesses, large offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities and administrative departments looking for a very fast monochrome A4 multifunction printer for invoices, contracts, files, accounting documents, duplex scanning and digital archiving. It is a professional machine suited to high document volumes, but should not be offered to customers looking for A3 format, colour printing, graphics or heavy cardstock.
