The model at a glance
The Samsung ML-5515ND is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public institutions, warehouses, administrative departments, logistics centers and workgroups that need only fast, high-volume black-and-white printing.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, files, reports, manuals, labels, office paperwork and large quantities of A4 documents. It is not designed for color graphics, photographs, copying or scanning, as it is a monochrome printer with print-only functionality.
Print speed: up to 52 pages per minute in A4 black and white.
Functions: print only. It does not have copying, scanning or fax functions.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Quality suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported sizes: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, cardstock and compatible specialty media. It is designed to handle continuous document jobs and heavier media than a small office printer.
Paper capacity: standard capacity approximately 620/650 sheets, consisting of a main tray and a multipurpose bypass tray. Expandable with optional trays to increase paper autonomy in high-volume offices.
ADF: not present, because the model does not have copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and USB Host. Wi-Fi is not standard; it is available only with an optional adapter or specific configuration.
Control panel: 4-line LCD display with numeric keypad, convenient for settings, network management, secure printing, saved jobs and the printer's main functions.
Work volumes: suitable for medium-to-high and high volumes. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 300,000 pages, making it suitable for environments that print many A4 black-and-white documents.
Main consumables: Samsung MLT-D309S black toner with an indicative yield of up to approximately 10,000 pages, MLT-D309L up to approximately 30,000 pages and MLT-D309E up to approximately 40,000 pages. Samsung MLT-R309 drum with an indicative life of up to approximately 80,000 pages.
