The Ricoh MP C2003 is a professional A3 colour laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public bodies, reception areas, administrative departments, sales departments and small/medium workgroups that need A3 colour printing, copying and scanning.
It is suited to colour business documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, presentations, charts, tables, product sheets, internal sales materials, simple brochures, lightweight flyers, booklets and documents with logos and images. Thanks to Ricoh colour quality and resolution of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, it can also be used for light graphics and office marketing materials, but it is not the first choice for advanced professional graphics, photography or intensive copy-shop production.
Print speed: up to 20 pages per minute in A4, both colour and black and white. A3 printing is slower and intended for office jobs, not intensive production.
Functions: print, copy and scan. Fax is optional, depending on the machine's installed configuration.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in, helping save paper and handle booklets, contracts, administrative files, sales offers and business documents.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Quality suitable for sharp text, professional documents, logos, charts, tables, simple images, presentations and lightweight marketing materials.
Supported sizes: A5, A4, A3, SRA3 / 12" x 18", envelopes and custom sizes up to approximately 320 x 600 mm. This professional A3 multifunction printer can also handle media larger than standard A3 using the bypass tray or compatible paper trays.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 300 g/m² from the main trays, 52 to 300 g/m² from the bypass tray, and up to 169 g/m² for duplex printing. Suitable for office paper, letterhead, recycled paper, heavier media, lightweight card, envelopes, labels and colour-laser-compatible sales materials.
Paper capacity: 1,200 sheets standard, comprising two 550-sheet trays and a 100-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. It can be expanded to approximately 2,300 sheets with optional trays, useful for offices with regular print volumes.
ADF: 100-sheet ARDF automatic document feeder, useful for copying and scanning multi-page originals up to A3. It supports handling double-sided originals, useful for contracts, booklets, administrative files and paper archives.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, USB Host and an SD slot on the panel. Wi-Fi is not built in as standard; check the specific configuration or add it using a compatible external option.
Control panel: tilting 9" colour touchscreen, easy to use for copying, scanning, settings, address book, user management, confidential jobs and the machine's main functions. An optional 10.1" Smart Operation Panel is also available, depending on configuration.
Technology and platform: Ricoh colour laser system with professional document management, security, user authentication, secure printing, direct PDF and advanced scanning functions.
Memory and storage: 1.5 GB standard memory, expandable to 2 GB, and a 250 GB hard drive. These features are useful for print queues, scanning, temporary storage, confidential jobs and office document management.
Optional finishing: it can be configured with an internal finisher, stapling, hole punching, a separator tray and other options, depending on the installed configuration; useful for booklets, handouts, sales offers and multi-page documents.
Work volumes: suited to offices with medium and low-to-medium A3 and A4 colour volumes. It is a robust, versatile multifunction printer for documents, presentations and light graphics, but should not be presented as a machine for intensive production.
Main consumables: Ricoh MP C2003 / MP C2503 black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner. The most common indicative yields are approximately 15,000 pages for black and approximately 9,500 pages for each colour; these vary depending on the consumable code, market and print coverage. The drum, developer, transfer belt, fuser and toner waste container are separate maintenance components, depending on configuration and machine counter.
