The model at a glance
The OKI C833 is a professional A3 colour LED printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, agencies, administrative departments, technical offices, reception areas and small/medium workgroups that need colour printing only in A4 and A3 formats.
This model is suited to colour business documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, presentations, charts, tables, product sheets, simple brochures, lightweight flyers, internal sales material and documents with logos and images. It can also be recommended for light graphics and office marketing material, thanks to its A3 format, support for heavy media and good LED colour output. However, it is not a multifunction machine and is not the first choice for advanced professional graphics or intensive production.
Print speed: up to 35 pages per minute in A4, both colour and black and white. In A3, it prints up to approximately 20 pages per minute.
Functions: print only. It does not have copying, scanning or fax functions.
Duplex: automatic, built into the C833dn version; useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, presentations, sales offers, files and business material.
Print resolution: 600 x 600 dpi, 600 x 1,200 dpi and 600 x 600 dpi at 4 levels. Quality is suitable for crisp text, professional documents, charts, logos, tables, simple images, presentations, lightweight brochures and office sales material.
Supported formats: A6, A5, A4, A3, B4, B5, B6, Legal, Letter, Tabloid 11" x 17", envelopes, postcards, custom sizes and banners up to approximately 1,321 mm long. It is suitable for users who need to print both standard documents and A3 materials and lightweight banners.
Supported paper weights: 64 to 220 g/m² from the main tray, 64 to 256 g/m² from the multi-purpose bypass tray and 64 to 176 g/m² from optional trays. It is therefore suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight card, heavier media and sales material.
Paper capacity: 400 sheets standard, comprising a 300-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multi-purpose bypass tray. It can be expanded with optional 535-sheet trays to increase capacity in offices with regular print volumes.
ADF: not included, as this model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and USB Host. Wi-Fi is optional only if a dedicated module or specific configuration is present.
Control panel: simple display and physical controls, practical for settings, job management, network, print quality and the printer’s main functions.
Technology: OKI colour LED digital printing, compact compared with many traditional A3 printers and suitable for offices that need to print in colour on large formats without purchasing a bulkier A3 multifunction machine.
Workloads: suitable for small and medium workgroups with regular print volumes. Recommended monthly volume up to approximately 5,000 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 75,000 pages.
Main consumables: OKI black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner for the C833/C843 series, with separate drums for each colour. Yields vary according to the consumable code, coverage and market.
