LEXMARK Xs950de
The model at a glance
The Lexmark XS950de is a professional A3/Super Tabloid colour laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, larger offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities, administrative departments, sales departments, agencies and in-house print centres that need colour printing, copying, scanning and faxing.
It is suitable for business documents, invoices, contracts, quotes, presentations, charts, tables, product sheets, brochures, flyers, covers, booklets and sales materials. PANTONE calibration, 1,200 × 1,200 dpi resolution and support for media up to 300 g/m² also make it suitable for light graphics and promotional materials. It offers better professional colour quality than standard office multifunction printers, although it does not match the graphic specialisation of the best Xerox models.
Print speed: up to 45 pages per minute in black and white and up to 40 pages per minute in colour on A4. It maintains the same speeds when printing automatically on both sides.
Functions: printing, copying, colour scanning, network scanning and integrated colour faxing. It allows documents to be sent to email, FTP, network computers and USB memory.
Duplex: integrated automatic duplex for printing and copying. It has a reversible RADF document feeder that automatically scans both sides by turning the sheet; it does not use a single-pass duplex system with two scanners.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi, with Lexmark 2,400 Image Quality. Suitable for crisp text, logos, charts, images, gradients, presentations, brochures and colour sales materials.
Supported formats: A6, A5, A4, A3, Super Tabloid 304.8 × 483 mm, Letter, Legal, Ledger, envelopes and custom sizes. It also supports long sheets and banners up to approximately 1,200 mm via the dedicated tray.
Supported paper weights: up to 256 g/m² from the standard tray and up to approximately 300 g/m² through compatible paper paths. It handles plain paper, compatible glossy paper, cardstock, labels, transparencies, envelopes and special media for laser printing. It is suitable for covers, product sheets and promotional materials on heavy paper.
ADF: 110-sheet reversible RADF automatic document feeder. Scanning speed reaches up to approximately 68 pages per minute in black and white and 53 pages per minute in colour in simplex mode, while duplex scanning reaches approximately 38 images per minute.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, front and rear USB host ports, and direct printing from USB memory. Wi-Fi is not built in as standard and requires a compatible optional module.
Work volumes: suitable for offices with medium to medium-high volumes. The recommended monthly volume is approximately 5,000 to 33,000 pages, with a stated maximum duty cycle of up to approximately 200,000 pages per month.

Yields are stated according to the ISO/IEC 19798 standard and may vary depending on coverage and document type.
Maintenance components: Lexmark C950X71G photoconductor unit with an estimated life of up to approximately 115,000 pages; three-colour photoconductor kit C950X73G, up to approximately 115,000 pages; toner waste container C950X76G, up to approximately 30,000 pages; European 220-240 V fuser kit 40X7569, up to approximately 320,000 pages; maintenance kit 40X7540, up to approximately 160,000 pages; maintenance kit 40X7560, up to approximately 480,000 pages; and ADF maintenance kit 40X7530. Toner, photoconductors, waste container and maintenance assemblies are separate and can be replaced individually according to wear.
Recommended use: businesses, large offices, schools, public authorities, agencies, marketing departments and in-house print centres looking for a fast A3 colour multifunction printer for professional documents, presentations, brochures, flyers, covers and light graphics. It is a versatile machine with good colour quality and media handling up to 300 g/m². Xerox remains preferable for predominantly graphic work and the best possible output on images and heavy cardstock; Kyocera is generally preferable for document use where long component life and low maintenance costs are a priority.
