The model at a glance
The Lexmark MX711de is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities, administrative departments, warehouses, accountants and large workgroups that need black-and-white printing, copying, scanning, faxing and email.
It is primarily designed for document printing, such as text, invoices, contracts, quotations, delivery notes, administrative documents, files, manuals, forms, office paperwork and large volumes of A4 documents. It is not intended for color graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 66 pages per minute in A4 black and white. The first page can be printed in about 4 seconds, which is useful in environments with frequent, high-volume printing.
Functions: printing, copying, color scanning, network scanning, faxing and email.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in. It also has a single-pass duplex automatic document feeder, useful for quickly copying and scanning both sides of documents in a single pass.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with 2,400 Image Quality, 1,200 Image Quality and 600 x 600 dpi modes. The quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, Oficio, Folio, Executive, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 176 g/m² from the standard tray, with support for card stock, envelopes, labels, transparencies and compatible specialty paper as well.
Paper capacity: 650 sheets standard, comprising a 550-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Expandable to approximately 3,300 sheets with optional trays.
ADF: 150-sheet automatic document feeder with single-pass duplex scanning. It is very useful for scanning, copying, faxing and quickly digitizing large files.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB, front USB and rear USB ports. Wi-Fi is not standard; it is available only with an optional module or specific configuration.
Control panel: 10-inch Lexmark e-Task color touchscreen, convenient for managing printing, copying, scanning, faxing, email, the address book, network settings and document workflows.
Memory and performance: 1 GB standard memory, expandable to 3 GB, with an 800 MHz dual-core processor. Optional hard drive, depending on configuration.
Work volumes: suitable for medium-high to high volumes. Recommended monthly volume is approximately 5,000 to 100,000 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 350,000 pages.
Main consumables: Lexmark black toner cartridges available in different yields, approximately 6,000, 25,000 and up to 45,000 pages. Separate imaging unit with an approximate yield of up to 100,000 pages. A maintenance/fuser kit is available for this series.
