The model at a glance
The Lexmark MX522ade is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, public administrations, schools, warehouses, accounting departments and workgroups that primarily need to print, copy, scan and fax black-and-white documents.
It is primarily suited to document printing, including text, invoices, contracts, administrative documents, delivery notes, quotations, forms and office paperwork. It is not designed for color graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 44 pages per minute on A4 in black and white.
Functions: print, copy, color scan and fax. Printing is monochrome, while scanning can also capture documents in color.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in. It also has a document feeder with single-pass duplex scanning, useful for quickly digitizing multipage documents.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Quality suitable for sharp text, professional documents, barcodes, tables, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: primarily A4, A5, A6, envelopes, Legal, Letter and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: approximately 60 to 120 g/m² from the standard tray. It is therefore especially suited to regular office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels and simple media.
Paper capacity: 350 sheets standard, comprising a 250-sheet tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Expandable to approximately 2,000 sheets with optional trays.
ADF: 50-sheet automatic document feeder, useful for multipage scanning, copying and faxing.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB and front USB. Wi-Fi is optional and available only if the dedicated module is installed.
Control panel: Lexmark e-Task 4.3" color touchscreen, easy to use for copying, scanning, faxing, settings and network functions.
Work volumes: suitable for medium office workloads. Recommended monthly volume is approximately 2,000 to 15,000 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 120,000 pages.
Main consumables: Lexmark black toner cartridges are available in different yields, up to approximately 25,000 pages; imaging unit with an estimated life of up to approximately 60,000 pages. A maintenance kit is available for the MS/MX 52x series and is recommended approximately every 200,000 pages.
