The model at a glance
The Lexmark MX511de is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public institutions, reception areas, warehouses, administrative departments and workgroups that need black-and-white printing, copying, scanning, faxing and email.
It is primarily designed for document printing, including text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, files, office paperwork, reports and everyday document management. It is not designed for colour graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 42 pages per minute in A4 black and white, and up to 45 pages per minute in Letter format.
Functions: printing, copying, colour scanning, network scanning, faxing and email.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is integrated. It also has a RADF automatic document feeder with duplex handling, useful for copying and scanning multipage documents.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with 2,400 Image Quality, 1,200 Image Quality and 600 x 600 dpi modes. Quality suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, Oficio, Folio, Executive, Statement, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 format is not supported.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 120 g/m² from the standard tray. It also supports plain paper, compatible card stock, labels, envelopes, transparencies and special media according to Lexmark specifications.
Paper capacity: 350 sheets standard, comprising a 250-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Expandable to approximately 2,000 sheets with optional trays.
ADF: 50-sheet automatic document feeder, useful for copying, scanning, faxing and digitising multipage documents.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB, front USB and rear USB ports. Wi-Fi is not standard; it is available only with a dedicated optional Lexmark module.
Control panel: 4.3" Lexmark e-Task colour touchscreen, convenient for managing printing, copying, scanning, faxing, email, the address book, network settings and work shortcuts.
Memory and performance: 800 MHz dual-core processor, 512 MB standard memory, expandable up to 2,560 MB. Optional hard drive depending on configuration.
Work volumes: suitable for small and medium workgroups with regular print volumes. Recommended monthly volume of approximately 2,000 to 12,000 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of approximately 120,000 pages.
Main consumables: Lexmark black toner cartridges available in various yields, approximately 2,500, 10,000 and up to 20,000 pages. Separate imaging unit with an approximate life of up to 60,000 pages.
