The model at a glance
The Lexmark MS811dn is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, warehouses, administrative departments, public bodies and workgroups that need fast, high-volume black-and-white printing only.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, manuals, files, labels, office paperwork and large quantities of A4 documents. It is not designed for color graphics, photographs, copying or scanning, as it is a monochrome, print-only printer.
Print speed: up to 60 pages per minute in A4 black and white. The first page can be printed in about 4.4 seconds, useful for offices with frequent, high-volume printing.
Functions: print only. It does not have copying, scanning or fax functions.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in, helping save paper and manage professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 Image Quality, with quality suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported sizes: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock and standard everyday work media.
Paper capacity: standard capacity with a main tray and multipurpose feeder. It can be expanded with optional trays to approximately 4,400 sheets, useful for offices printing many documents without having to reload paper frequently.
ADF: not included, as this model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet network and USB. Wi-Fi is not standard; it is available only with an optional module or a specific configuration.
Control panel: display with physical buttons, convenient for settings, network management, print jobs and the machine’s main functions.
Workload: suitable for medium-high to high volumes. Recommended monthly volume is approximately 5,000 to 75,000 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 300,000 pages.
Main consumables: Lexmark black toner cartridges available in various yields, approximately 6,000, 25,000 and up to 45,000 pages. Separate imaging unit with an estimated life of up to approximately 100,000 pages.
