The model at a glance
The Lexmark MB2236i is a NEW compact A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for small offices, professional practices, reception areas, administrative workstations, shops, warehouses and workgroups that need to print, copy and scan black-and-white documents.
It is a model primarily intended for document printing, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, forms, administrative documents, delivery notes and office paperwork. It is not designed for color graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 34 pages per minute in A4 black and white.
Functions: printing, copying, color scanning and network scanning. Traditional analog fax is not available; optional cloud fax may be supported through a dedicated service, if configured.
Duplex: automatic for printing, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents. The document feeder is single-sided, so it does not perform automatic duplex scanning.
Print resolution: up to 2,400 IQ, equivalent to 2,400 x 600 dpi, with 600 x 600 dpi and 1,200 IQ modes also available. Quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes and simple charts.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, Oficio, Folio, Executive, envelopes and custom sizes. It does not support A3.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 105 g/m² from the standard tray. Best suited to office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock and plain media.
Paper capacity: 250 sheets standard in the main tray, plus single-sheet manual feed. 150-sheet output tray.
ADF: 50-sheet automatic document feeder, useful for simple multi-page copying and scanning.
Connectivity: USB, Ethernet network, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and front USB port. It also supports mobile printing and scanning to a network, email, FTP, USB or connected computer.
Control panel: 2.8" color touchscreen, useful for managing copying, scanning, network settings and the machine's main functions.
Workloads: suitable for low volumes and light medium volumes. Recommended monthly volume of approximately 250 to 2,500 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 30,000 pages.
Main consumables: Lexmark black toner cartridges available in different yields, approximately 1,200, 3,000 and 6,000 pages. Imaging unit with an approximate life of up to 12,000 pages.
