The model at a glance
The Lexmark M3250 is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities, administrative departments, warehouses and workgroups that need only fast, robust and reliable black-and-white printing.
It is a model primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office paperwork, reports, labels, barcodes, files and everyday A4 documents. It is not designed for color graphics, photographs, copying, scanning or faxing, as it is a monochrome print-only printer.
Print speed: up to 50 pages per minute in A4/Letter format in black and white.
Functions: print only. It does not have copying, scanning or fax functions.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is integrated, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files, reports, manuals and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with 1,200 Image Quality, 2,400 Image Quality and 600 x 600 dpi modes. Quality suited to sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, Executive, Folio, Oficio, Statement, JIS-B5, envelopes and Universal size. It does not support A3 format.
Supported paper weights and media: suitable for plain paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, card stock, transparencies and special media compatible with Lexmark monochrome laser printers.
Paper capacity: 650 sheets standard, consisting of a 550-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Maximum capacity expandable to approximately 2,300 sheets with optional trays. Standard paper output capacity is 250 sheets.
ADF: not present, because the model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: USB 2.0, front USB, rear USB and Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 network. Wi-Fi is not integrated as standard; it is available as an option via the Lexmark MarkNet N8372 module.
Control panel: 4.3" / 10.9 cm Lexmark e-Task color touchscreen, convenient for settings, machine status, secure jobs, network, user management and the printer's main functions.
Memory and performance: 1 GHz dual-core processor, standard 1 GB memory and optional hard disk. It is designed for professional environments with print queues, complex documents, confidential jobs and office document management.
Work volumes: suited to offices with medium and medium-high print volumes. The recommended monthly volume is approximately 2,000–20,000 pages, with a stated maximum duty cycle of up to approximately 175,000 pages per month.
Main consumables: Lexmark 24B6887 black toner, with an indicative yield of up to approximately 21,000 pages. Imaging unit with an indicative life of up to approximately 60,000 pages. The machine is normally supplied with a starter toner cartridge for approximately 6,000 pages.
