The model at a glance
The Lexmark M1145 is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, warehouses, reception areas, administrative departments and small/medium workgroups that need only fast, reliable black-and-white printing.
It is primarily intended for printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office paperwork, reports, labels and everyday A4 documents. It is not designed for colour graphics, photographs, copying or scanning, as it is a monochrome printer for printing only.
Print speed: up to approximately 42/45 pages per minute in A4 black and white, depending on the version and target market.
Functions: print only. It does not have copy, scan or fax functions.
Duplex: integrated automatic duplex printing, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with Lexmark Image Quality mode. Quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, Oficio, Folio, Executive, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock and basic media compatible with laser printers.
Paper capacity: 350 sheets standard, comprising a 250-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Expandable with optional trays to increase paper capacity in offices with regular print volumes.
ADF: not present, because the model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet and USB. Wi-Fi is not standard; available only with an optional module or specific configuration, if applicable.
Operating panel: 2.4" colour LCD display with numeric keypad, convenient for settings, network management, secure printing and the machine’s main functions.
Memory and performance: 800 MHz dual-core processor and 256 MB standard memory, expandable depending on configuration. Suitable for handling office document jobs and regular print queues.
Work volumes: suitable for small and medium workgroups with frequent document-printing needs. A robust, fast and compact printer for environments where many A4 black-and-white documents are printed.
Main consumables: Lexmark Unison black toner available in different yields depending on the consumable code. Separate imaging unit, with a relatively long stated life compared with basic printers.
