The model at a glance
The Kyocera TASKalfa 356ci is a professional A4 colour laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public institutions, reception areas, administrative departments and workgroups that need A4 colour printing, copying and scanning.
It is primarily suited to colour office documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotations, presentations, charts, tables, internal sales material, simple brochures and business documents with logos and images. It can produce good-quality colour prints, but it is not the primary choice for professional graphics, photographs or advanced copy-shop work.
Print speed: up to 35 pages per minute in A4, in both colour and black and white.
Functions: print, copy and scan. Fax is optional, depending on the installed configuration.
Duplex: automatic for printing, helping save paper and handle professional documents. Depending on the configuration, it may be equipped with a document feeder for multipage scanning and copying.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with equivalent quality of up to 9,600 x 600 dpi level. Quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, charts, logos, tables, presentations and light commercial material.
Supported formats: A6R, A5, A4, Legal, custom sizes and banners via the bypass tray up to approximately 1,220 mm long. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 220 g/m² from the cassettes, the multipurpose bypass tray and also in duplex. Suitable for office paper, letterhead, labels, envelopes, lightweight card and thicker media.
Paper capacity: 600 sheets standard, comprising a 500-sheet main cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 3,100 sheets with optional cassettes.
ADF: a document feeder is available depending on the configuration, useful for multipage copying and scanning. Some versions can be configured with faster duplex scanning.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB and USB Host. Wi-Fi is optional only if a dedicated module or specific configuration is present.
Operation panel: 7" colour touchscreen, convenient for managing copying, printing, scanning, the address book, network settings and the machine’s main functions.
Work volumes: suited to small and medium-sized workgroups looking for a robust, fast and reliable A4 colour multifunction printer for everyday office use.
Main consumables: Kyocera TK-5205 / TK-5207 series toner, depending on the market and version. Approximate yield of up to 18,000 pages for black and approximately 12,000 pages for each colour.
