The model at a glance
The Kyocera TASKalfa 3253ci is a professional A3 color laser multifunction printer, recommended mainly for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities, administrative departments, technical offices, surveyors, architects and workgroups that need to print, copy and scan A4 and A3 documents in color.
This model is primarily suited to business and document printing: text, invoices, contracts, quotes, presentations, tables, charts, administrative documents, files, technical drawings, forms and internal commercial materials. It can print in color with good quality, but should not be presented as the first choice for professional graphics, photographs or advanced copy-shop work. For pure graphics, it is better to direct customers to Xerox, Ricoh or Konica Minolta.
Print speed: up to 32 pages per minute in A4 format, both color and black and white. In A3 format, it prints up to approximately 16 pages per minute.
Functions: printing, copying and scanning. Optional fax, depending on the installed configuration.
Duplex: automatic for printing and copying, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files, presentations and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to an equivalent 4,800 dpi x 1,200 dpi. Quality suitable for professional documents, sharp text, tables, charts, logos, presentations, technical drawings and office A3 color printing.
Supported formats: A6R, A5, A4, A3, SRA3, custom sizes and banners via the bypass tray. Ideal for A4 and A3 documents, technical paperwork, internal commercial materials, presentations and business color printing.
Supported paper weights: 52 to 300 g/m² from the cassettes and the multi-purpose bypass tray. For duplex, it supports paper from approximately 64 to 256 g/m².
Paper capacity: 1,150 sheets standard, comprising 2 500-sheet cassettes and a 150-sheet multi-purpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 7,150 sheets with optional cassettes.
ADF: an automatic document feeder is available depending on the configuration and is useful for multipage copying and scanning. With the optional dual-scan feeder, it can handle high-speed duplex scanning.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet network, USB 3.0, USB Host, NFC and mobile printing support. Wi-Fi is optional only when a dedicated module or specific configuration is present.
Control panel: 10.1" color touchscreen, easy to use for printing, copying, scanning, the address book, network settings, document functions and workflow management.
Platform: supports Kyocera HyPAS, useful for applications, user authentication, advanced scanning, security and document management in business environments.
Work volumes: suitable for medium and medium-high volumes. It is a robust machine for offices and businesses that regularly print A4 and A3 color documents and seek reliability, productivity and low running costs.
Main consumables: Kyocera TK-8335 toner. Black TK-8335K yields up to approximately 25,000 pages; colors TK-8335C, TK-8335M and TK-8335Y yield up to approximately 15,000 pages each. WT-8500 waste toner container yields up to approximately 40,000 pages.
