The model at a glance
The Kyocera FS-2020DN is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer recommended for offices, businesses, professional practices, schools, warehouses, reception areas, administrative departments and small workgroups that need fast, reliable black-and-white printing only.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office paperwork, labels, reports and everyday A4 documents. It is not designed for color graphics, photos, copying or scanning, as it is a print-only monochrome printer.
Print speed: up to 35 pages per minute in A4 black and white.
Functions: print only. No copying, scanning or faxing.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in, helping save paper and handle professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 dpi. Suitable quality for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 is not supported.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 120 g/m² from the main cassette, 60 to 220 g/m² from the multipurpose bypass and 60 to 120 g/m² for duplex printing. Suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels and lightweight card via the bypass.
Paper capacity: 600 sheets as standard, comprising a 500-sheet main cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose bypass. Expandable to approximately 1,100 sheets with an optional cassette.
ADF: not included, as this model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: Ethernet network built into the FS-2020DN version, USB and parallel port. Wi-Fi is not standard; it is available only with optional adapters or specific configurations.
Control panel: 2-line backlit LCD with physical buttons, for straightforward, practical settings, job management, USB and network printing, and the printer's main functions.
Work volumes: suitable for small and medium-sized workgroups. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 150,000 pages, with a lower recommended average for everyday document work.
Main consumables: Kyocera TK-340 black toner, with an indicative yield of up to approximately 12,000 pages. Indicative initial toner yield: approximately 6,000 pages. MK-340 maintenance kit and DK-320 drum are available for servicing at high print volumes.
