The Kyocera ECOSYS M3550idn is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public bodies, administrative departments, warehouses, accountants and workgroups that need high-productivity black-and-white printing, copying, scanning and faxing.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, files, reports, office paperwork and everyday scans. It is not designed for colour graphics or photo printing, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 50 pages per minute in A4 black and white.
Functions: printing, copying, colour scanning and faxing. Printing is monochrome, while the scanner can also capture documents in colour.
Duplex: automatic for printing, copying, scanning and faxing, helping save paper and handle professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: 1,200 dpi quality, with a print resolution of 1,800 x 600 dpi. Copying and scanning up to 600 x 600 dpi. Quality suited to sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter, Legal and custom sizes. A3 format is not supported.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 120 g/m² from the main cassette, 60 to 220 g/m² from the multipurpose bypass and 60 to 120 g/m² for duplex. Suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels and lightweight cardstock via the bypass.
Paper capacity: 600 sheets standard, comprising a 500-sheet main cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose bypass. Expandable to approximately 2,600 sheets with optional cassettes.
ADF: 75-sheet automatic duplex document feeder, useful for multipage copying, scanning and faxing.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB, USB Host and mobile printing support, including AirPrint. Wi-Fi is optional only when the dedicated module or a specific configuration is present.
Control panel: tiltable 7" colour touchscreen, easy to use for printing, copying, scanning, faxing, address book, network settings and document functions.
Platform: supports Kyocera HyPAS, useful for applications, document workflows, user authentication, advanced scanning and integration into business environments.
Work volumes: suited to workgroups with medium-to-high volumes. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 250,000 pages, with long-life components designed to reduce operating and maintenance costs.
Main consumables: Kyocera black toner with an indicative yield of up to approximately 25,000 pages. Long-life drum and developer, with an indicative life of up to approximately 500,000 pages.
