The model at a glance
The Kyocera ECOSYS FS-4100DN is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, warehouses, reception areas, administrative departments and workgroups that need only fast, reliable and cost-effective black-and-white printing.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office files, labels, reports and large quantities of A4 documents. It is not designed for colour graphics, photographs, copying or scanning, as it is a monochrome, print-only printer.
Print speed: up to 45 pages per minute in A4 black-and-white.
Functions: print only. It does not have copying, scanning or fax functions.
Duplex: built-in automatic duplex printing, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files and administrative records.
Print resolution: up to 1.200 x 1.200 dpi. Quality suitable for crisp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 format is not supported.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels and basic everyday work media. Optional feeders can also handle higher-capacity paper configurations.
Paper capacity: 600 sheets standard, comprising a 500-sheet main cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 2.600 sheets with optional cassettes.
ADF: not included, as the model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and USB Host for direct printing from a USB drive. Wi-Fi is not standard; it is available only with an optional module or a specific configuration.
Operation panel: 5-line LCD with alphanumeric keypad, practical for settings, network management, secure printing, private printing and the machine’s main functions.
Workloads: suitable for medium to medium-high volumes. Indicative maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 200.000 pages, making it suitable for environments that print many A4 black-and-white documents.
Main consumables: Kyocera TK-3110 black toner with an indicative yield of up to approximately 15.500 pages. Some versions or markets may also specify TK-3100 toner, which has a lower yield. Indicative initial toner yield: approximately 8.000 pages.
