The model at a glance
The HP PageWide Managed Color MFP E58650 is a professional A4 color multifunction printer with HP PageWide technology, recommended for businesses, established offices, professional practices, schools, public agencies, administrative departments, agencies, reception areas and workgroups that need fast A4 color printing, copying and scanning.
It is suited to color business documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, presentations, charts, tables, product sheets, internal sales materials, simple brochures, lightweight flyers and documents with logos and images. Thanks to its high resolution and PageWide technology, it can also be used for light graphics and office marketing materials, but it is not the first choice for advanced professional graphics, photographs or print-shop work.
Print speed: up to 50 pages per minute in A4, in both color and black and white, in Professional mode. In General Office mode, it can reach up to approximately 75 pages per minute.
Functions: print, copy and scan. Fax is optional on the E58650dn version and included as standard on the Flow E58650z version.
Duplex: automatic printing. It also has an automatic document feeder with single-pass duplex scanning, useful for quickly digitizing multipage documents.
Print resolution: up to 2,400 x 1,200 dpi. Quality suited to crisp text, professional documents, charts, logos, simple images, presentations, lightweight sales materials and high-quality A4 color prints.
Supported sizes: A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes up to approximately 216 x 356 mm. It does not support A3.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock, matte paper, compatible photo paper and special inkjet/PageWide media.
Paper capacity: 550 sheets standard, comprising a 500-sheet main tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. Expandable with optional trays to approximately 2,050 sheets, depending on the installed configuration.
ADF: 100-sheet automatic document feeder with single-pass duplex scanning. Indicative scan speeds of up to approximately 44 images per minute in black and white and up to approximately 40 images per minute in color on the E58650dn version.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB and USB Host. Wi-Fi, Wireless Direct and NFC are optional only when dedicated modules or a specific configuration are present.
Control panel: 8" color touchscreen, easy to use for printing, copying, scanning, email, USB, network folders, settings and document functions.
Technology: HP PageWide, based on a fixed, page-wide printhead. It offers very high speeds, reduced power consumption and competitive operating costs compared with many traditional color printers.
Work volumes: suited to medium and medium-high volumes. Recommended monthly volume is approximately 2,000 to 15,000 pages, with a maximum monthly duty cycle of up to approximately 120,000 pages.
Main consumables: HP PageWide 981 series cartridges. High-yield HP 981X: black up to approximately 11,000 pages, colors up to approximately 10,000 pages each. Extra-high-yield HP 981Y: black up to approximately 20,000 pages, colors up to approximately 16,000 pages each.
