The model at a glance
The Canon i-SENSYS LBP253x is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer, recommended for offices, professional practices, reception areas, warehouses, shops, administrative departments and small workgroups that need only fast, compact and reliable black-and-white printing.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office paperwork, labels and everyday A4 documents. It is not designed for colour graphics, photographs, copying or scanning, as it is a monochrome print-only printer.
Print speed: up to 33 pages per minute in A4 black and white. In duplex mode, it prints up to approximately 16.8 pages per minute.
Functions: print only. It has no copying, scanning or fax functions.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in, helping save paper and manage professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: 600 dpi, with enhanced quality up to approximately 1,200 x 1,200 dpi depending on the driver and mode used. The quality is suitable for sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter, Legal, Oficio, Foolscap, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 format is not supported.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels and basic media for everyday work.
Paper capacity: 300 sheets standard, comprising a 250-sheet main tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. Expandable to approximately 800 sheets with an optional 500-sheet tray.
ADF: not included, as this model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: USB, Gigabit Ethernet network, integrated Wi-Fi and IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless support. Also supports UFR II, PCL6 and PostScript print languages.
Control panel: LCD display with physical buttons, simple and practical for settings, network management, Wi-Fi, secure printing and the printer's main functions.
