The Sharp MX-B427PW is a professional A4 monochrome laser printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, reception areas, warehouses, administrative departments and small/medium workgroups that need only fast, compact and reliable black-and-white printing.
It is primarily suited to printing documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office paperwork, reports, labels and everyday A4 documents. It is not designed for color graphics, photographs, copying or scanning, as it is a monochrome, print-only printer.
Print speed: up to 40 pages per minute in A4 black and white.
Functions: print only. It does not have copying, scanning or faxing capabilities.
Duplex: automatic duplex printing is built in, useful for saving paper and handling professional documents, contracts, files and administrative paperwork.
Print resolution: 600 x 600 dpi, with quality suited to sharp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported sizes: A4, A5, A6, Letter, Legal, envelopes and custom sizes. A3 size is not supported.
Supported paper weights: suitable for office paper, letterhead, envelopes, labels, lightweight cardstock and basic media compatible with monochrome laser printers.
Paper capacity: 350 sheets standard, comprising a 250-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Expandable to approximately 900 sheets with an optional 550-sheet tray.
ADF: not included, as the model has no copying or scanning functions.
Connectivity: USB, Ethernet network, built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. It also supports printing from mobile devices via AirPrint and compatible Sharp services.
Control panel: simple 2-line LCD display with physical buttons, convenient for settings, network, Wi-Fi, machine status and the printer’s main functions.
