The Lexmark XC9225 is a professional A3/SRA3 colour laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public authorities, agencies, administrative departments, sales departments, in-house print centres and workgroups that need professional-quality colour printing, copying, scanning and faxing.
It is suitable for colour business documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, presentations, charts, tables, product sheets, internal sales materials, brochures, flyers, booklets, documents with logos and images, and office marketing materials. Compared with more document-focused machines, it is also a good choice for light graphics and more polished promotional materials, thanks to Lexmark colour quality, 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution and SRA3 handling.
Print speed: up to 25 pages per minute in A4, in both colour and black and white.
Functions: printing, copying, scanning and faxing. Printing and scanning are in colour, and fax is integrated.
Duplex: automatic and integrated for printing, copying and scanning. It has a single-pass duplex document feeder, so it can scan both sides of a sheet in one pass—useful for contracts, booklets, administrative files, paper archives and high-volume scanning.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with 2,400 Image Quality. Quality suitable for sharp text, professional documents, logos, charts, tables, simple images, presentations, lightweight brochures and office marketing materials.
Supported sizes: A6, A5, A4, A3, SRA3, Super Tabloid 12″ x 18″, Letter, Legal, Statement, Folio, Oficio, Executive, envelopes and custom sizes. It is therefore a professional A3/SRA3 multifunction printer, more versatile than standard document-focused A3 models.
Supported paper weights: suitable for plain paper, letterhead, recycled paper, envelopes, labels, card stock, banner paper and special media compatible with Lexmark colour laser printers.
Paper capacity: 1,150 sheets standard, comprising two 500-sheet trays and a 150-sheet multipurpose feeder. It can be expanded to approximately 6,650 sheets with optional trays and high-capacity feeders.
ADF: 100-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder. Scan speeds of up to approximately 80 images per minute simplex and up to 160 sides per minute duplex, in both black and white and colour.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet network, USB 2.0, front and rear USB ports. Wi-Fi is not integrated as standard; it is available as an option through a dedicated Lexmark module, depending on configuration.
Control panel: large, intuitive 10″ colour Lexmark e-Task touchscreen, useful for copying, scanning, faxing, the address book, settings, document workflows, integrated apps, confidential jobs and user management.

Workload: suitable for offices with medium to medium-high volumes. Recommended monthly volume is approximately 4,000–20,000 pages, with a stated maximum duty cycle of up to approximately 150,000 pages per month.
Main consumables: Lexmark black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner, each with an estimated yield of up to approximately 30,000 pages per colour. Photoconductors with an estimated yield of up to approximately 90,000 pages for black and approximately 55,000 pages for colour on the XC9225. Developer units yield up to approximately 600,000 pages and the fuser up to approximately 720,000 pages as long-life series components.
