The Canon i-SENSYS MF443dw is a professional A4 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, small and medium-sized offices, professional practices, shops, reception areas, schools and administrative departments that need fast document printing, copying and scanning in a compact design.
It is primarily suited to invoices, contracts, quotations, accounting documents, administrative paperwork, forms, correspondence, files and digital archiving. It is a well-balanced machine for everyday office work, but is not suited to colour graphics, photographs, A3 format or heavy card.
Print speed: up to 38 pages per minute in A4 simplex and up to approximately 31.9 images per minute with automatic duplex printing.
Functions: printing, copying and colour scanning of originals. The Canon MF443dw does not have a fax function, unlike other models in the MF440 series.
Duplex: integrated automatic duplex for printing, copying and scanning. It has a single-pass duplex document feeder, capable of scanning both sides of a sheet in a single pass.
Print resolution: 600 × 600 dpi, with enhanced quality up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi using Canon Image Refinement technology. It is suitable for sharp text, tables, forms, monochrome charts, barcodes and professional business documents.
Supported formats: A6, A5, A4, B5, Letter, Legal, Executive, envelopes and custom sizes up to approximately 216 × 356 mm. It does not support A3 printing.
Supported paper weights: 60 to 120 g/m² from the main cassette and up to 163 g/m² from the multipurpose tray. It handles plain paper, recycled paper, thin paper, heavy paper, labels, postcards and envelopes, but is not designed for heavy card weighing 220–300 g/m².
ADF: 50-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder. Scan speed reaches approximately 38 images per minute in black and white and 13 in colour in simplex mode, and up to approximately 70 images per minute in black and white and 26 in colour in duplex mode.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet network, USB 2.0, built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct connection. It also supports Apple AirPrint, Mopria, Canon PRINT Business, PIN-protected printing and direct printing from USB memory.
Work volumes: recommended for a monthly volume of approximately 750 to 4,000 pages, with a stated maximum duty cycle of up to approximately 80,000 pages per month. The maximum duty cycle is an occasional limit, not the recommended volume for continuous use.
Main consumables: Canon Cartridge 057 black toner, code 3009C002, with an approximate yield of up to 3,100 pages; high-capacity Canon Cartridge 057H black toner, code 3010C002, with an approximate yield of up to 10,000 pages. Yields are declared in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19752 standard and may vary depending on coverage and document type.
Maintenance components: Canon lists Cartridge 057 or 057H as the main user-replaceable consumable and does not list a separate drum or waste toner container in the official specifications. The fuser, feed rollers and other internal components are technical spare parts to be replaced by a service technician according to wear, with no consumable codes published in the model’s commercial specifications.
Recommended use: businesses, administrative offices, professional practices, shops and workgroups looking for a compact, fast monochrome A4 multifunction printer for invoices, contracts, accounting documents, duplex scanning and digital archiving. It is particularly practical thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, single-pass duplex scanning and the 10,000-page high-capacity toner, but should not be recommended to customers looking for colour printing, A3 format, graphics or heavy card.
