The model at a glance
The Konica Minolta bizhub 308e is a professional A3 monochrome laser multifunction printer, recommended for businesses, offices, professional practices, schools, public institutions, administrative departments, warehouses and workgroups that need to print, copy and scan in black and white, including in A3 format.
It is primarily suited to business documents, text, invoices, contracts, quotes, delivery notes, administrative documents, forms, office files, dossiers, reports, manuals, legal documents, multipage scans and paper archives. It is not designed for color graphics, photographs or color marketing materials, as it is monochrome.
Print speed: up to 30 pages per minute in A4 black and white. In A3 format, it reaches up to approximately 15 pages per minute.
Functions: print, copy and scan. Fax is optional, depending on the configuration installed on the machine.
Duplex: automatic duplex is built in for printing and copying, helping save paper and manage dossiers, contracts, administrative files, reports and professional documents.
Print resolution: up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, with equivalent quality up to 1,800 x 600 dpi. The quality is suitable for crisp text, professional documents, tables, barcodes, simple charts and business forms.
Supported formats: A6, A5, A4, A3, custom sizes, 12" x 18" and banners up to approximately 1.2 metres via the bypass tray. It is therefore a genuine professional A3 multifunction printer, not simply an A4 machine.
Supported paper weights: 52 to 300 g/m². Suitable for office paper, letterhead, recycled paper, heavier media, lightweight cardstock, labels and media compatible with monochrome laser printers.
Paper capacity: 1,150 sheets standard, comprising two 500-sheet trays and a 150-sheet multipurpose bypass tray. It can be expanded to approximately 6,650 sheets with optional trays and high-capacity feeders.
ADF: optional automatic document feeder. It can be configured with a 100-sheet feeder and, in higher-end versions, a Dual Scan Document Feeder for fast duplex scanning at up to approximately 160 originals per minute.
Connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and USB Host. Wi-Fi is not included as standard; it is available as an option depending on the configuration. It supports mobile printing features such as AirPrint and NFC if enabled in the installed configuration.
Control panel: 9" colour touchscreen with a tablet-style interface, convenient for copying, scanning, settings, address book, user management, secure printing, document workflows and the machine’s main functions.
Technology and platform: Konica Minolta bizhub system with Simitri HD toner, designed for crisp text, consistent document quality, user management, security, authentication, confidential printing and integration into business workflows.
Memory and storage: 4 GB of memory and a 250 GB hard drive, useful for print queues, scans, confidential jobs, temporary storage and office document management.
Optional finishing: it can be configured with an internal or external finisher, stapling, punching, booklet making, folding and other options, depending on the installed configuration. Useful for dossiers, course materials, manuals and multipage documents.
Work volumes: suitable for offices with medium to medium-high volumes of A4 and A3 black-and-white documents. It is designed for structured workgroups that print and scan documents every day.
Main consumables: Konica Minolta TN326 black toner, with an indicative yield of up to approximately 25,000 pages. The image unit, drum, developer, fuser and waste toner container are separate maintenance components, depending on the configuration and machine counter.
